Summary

A leading company in the blockchain space is seeking a Full-Stack Blockchain Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation on-chain governance applications. The position involves full-stack development, including both frontend and backend, with a focus on scalability and user experience. You will work alongside engineering, design, and product teams to implement end-to-end features.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance on-chain governance applications, ensuring scalability and improved user experience.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to design and build new features.
  • Focus on Next.js and TypeScript development for frontend tasks (80% of the role).
  • Work with on-chain wallets, assets, and permissionless systems (20% of the role).
  • Contribute to backend data architecture decisions.
  • Implement automated tests and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvements for contracts, architecture, data layers, and mobile experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on blockchain.
  • Experience working on at least three production-grade stacks and distributed systems with object-oriented languages.
  • Experience in Next.js and TypeScript development (80% of the role).
  • Familiarity with on-chain wallets, assets, and permissionless systems (20% of the role).
  • Experience in Web3, crypto, and blockchain technologies.
  • Some experience with software architecture (e.g., migrating Web2 processes to on-chain solutions).
  • Familiarity with Ethereum’s architecture and L2 solutions.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, particularly in building scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve infrastructure by building design systems and making contributions easier for others.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in open-source projects.
  • Knowledge of the crypto governance ecosystem (e.g., ERC20Votes).
  • Experience with EVM Indexers.
  • Ability to improve infrastructure through building design systems and optimizing the contribution process for other developers.
