Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our cloud environments.
- Configure and manage logging systems to collect and analyze logs for troubleshooting and security purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure-related matters.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure-related incidents in a timely manner.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code principles with hands-on experience using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of logging solutions such as AWS CloudTrail, ELK stack, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have:
- Prior startup experience.
- Experience solving insurance industry/domain-related challenges.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of serverless computing and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services.

Time zone: at least 6 Hours Overlap with CST (Team is on different US time zones and in Europe)
