Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans to assess the functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of AEM solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and Technical Producers to understand project requirements and develop effective testing strategies.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in AEM applications.
- Perform both manual and automated testing of AEM components, templates, and workflows.
- Engage in site content authoring in AEM, utilizing page templates and component dialog authoring as needed.
- Create content author documentation for component instructions to facilitate user understanding.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in the deployment process with the development team to ensure smooth transitions.
- Ensure that all aspects of AEM projects, including user experience and integration points, meet established standards.
- Stay updated with the latest AEM versions and features to create relevant test cases.
- Run development demos for stakeholders outlining what is being included in production pushes each sprint.
- Produce release notes on Azure DevOps Wiki for each production release.
- Conduct comprehensive smoke tests on the site after all production releases.
- Execute testing scripts for Adobe Analytics implementation to ensure accurate tracking.
Basic Qualifications

- Proficiency in creating and managing test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its testing methodologies.
- Proven experience documenting test plans, content authoring runbooks, and accessibility best practices.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Knowledge of AEM architecture and content authoring, including templates, components, and workflows.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and principles for websites.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards as outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the newer WCAG 2.2.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- A background in software development or QA testing is preferred.
- Ability to think like an end user to enhance testing effectiveness.
- Understanding of site engineering ticket implications.
