Job Summary

The Full Stack Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js. The successful candidate will be passionate about using the latest AI tools to create innovative solutions that enhance user experience and drive business success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop applications that integrate with enterprise applications of various types, including document storage, knowledge bases, and other data sources.
  • Collaborate with product management and other engineers to deliver timely releases and maintain a high-quality codebase.
  • Use TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js to build scalable and reliable applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest AI tools and technologies and leverage them to create innovative solutions for the company.
  • Document and share the benefits and challenges of  applications as well as the adjacent AI tools used to build them.
  • Test and debug code to ensure that it meets requirements and adheres to best practices.
  • Deploy code to production environments and monitor its performance to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on users.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, including:
    • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
    • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Passion for using the latest AI tools and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Target Start Date: ASAP
Engagement Length: 6 months with the possibility to be extended based on performance.
Time Zone: EST
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm ET
Country Restrictions: Avoid Venezuela and Cuba.
Holidays (Local / US): US
