About

As a Teams Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Microsoft, you will be instrumental in deploying, administering, and supporting our unified communications solutions. Your expertise in Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business Online, and telephony systems will help enhance collaboration and communication for our enterprise customers. You will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and administration of Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business Online, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Provide expert support for telephony solutions, including inbound voice routing, call queues, and number porting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement unified communications solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and apply user policies to optimize the usage of Teams and Skype for Business.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Teams, Skype for Business, and related technologies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on best practices and features of Teams and Skype for Business.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in unified communications to continuously improve service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Extensive technical experience with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business Online, and other unified communications solutions.
  • Strong understanding of telephony systems, including VoIP, IM, real-time communications, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and core infrastructure components such as Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to manage user policy application and usage effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers is preferred.
